What size poly pipe does the Poly Boss roll up?

A. The 3.2 mtr diameter wheel will roll from below 50mm up to 110mm.

A. The 2.4 mtr diameter wheel will roll from 50mm up to 75mm.


What size generator is required to power the power pack?

A. Around a 5Kva genset is sufficient to run the 2.2kw power pack.


Are the Poly Boss units road registerable?

A. The 2.4 mtr Poly Boss unit is road registerable and comes standard with wiring and LED lights.

A.  The 3.2 mtr Poly Boss is overwidth for Australian roads and does not come standard with wiring and LED lights.


Can the 3.2 mtr Poly Boss Unit be driven on Australian main roads?

A. Yes. The trailer component can be wired and road registered, while the wheel component can be transported vertically using our custom made transportation bars.


FAQ's SERVICE BOSS

 

How much poly pipe can the Service Boss unit hold? 

A. Our standard Service Boss holds around 200 mtrs fo 50mm poly or 100 mtrs of 63mm poly with power and safety cable.


Can the Service Boss be customised to hold more poly?

A. Yes because we are the designers and manufactuers we can customise our units to suit individual requirements.


How is the Service Boss mounted onto my vehicle?

A. The Service Boss is fabricated to be simply forked on and off quickly and efficiently. 

A. The Service Boss must be fixed to a ute, truck or Bore Boss trailer using the chains and turnbuckles supplied by Bore Boss. This ensures the units safety and stablility during operation.

A. An auxiliary support leg supplied by Bore Boss must also be installed to your vehicles tow bar during operation to ensure the safety and stability of the unit.


What size generator is required to power the power pack

A. Around a 5Kva generator is sufficient to run the 2.2kw power pack.


How heavy are the Service Boss units?

A. The Service Boss unit weighs approximately 352kg.


FAQ's BORE BOSS

 

Do the Bore Boss units come with a standard size generator?

A. The size of the generator required on a Bore Boss unit is dependant upon the expected water flow rate, standing water level and depth of bore. Therefore each unit is customised to suit individual applications.


Do the Bore Boss units come standard with poly pipe and pump?

A. The Bore Boss units can be suppied equipped or unequipped with poly pipe and pump.


What specifications do you need to provide a quote to meet my requirements?

A. In order to provide you with a quote on a Bore Boss unit we require the following information:


  • bore case size
  • expected flow rate
  • pressure or head required at top of bore
  • depth of bore
  • standing water level

Are your products covered by warranty?

A. There is a 12 month warranty on the steel manufactured components of the Bore Boss products. The hydraulic and generator components are covered under their own factory warranty.  


Are your products made in Australia?

A. Yes all of our products are proudly made in our Queensland factory to a very strict quality control standard. Our products also bear the "Australian Made" logo.
